Questions, questions, and MORE questions!

When you've been in a committed relationship for so many years, you tend to get comfortable in your ways. Meaning to say, you lose touch with some of the things you use to do and use to notice when you were single.

One day, when the committed relationship (one you were hoping might lead to a marriage) suddenly ended, you find yourself at a lost. You suddenly find yourself asking yourself things like "Does this means I have to go through the whole dating process again?", and "Do I need to hit the gym now to attract the opposite sex (or in some people's case, same sex)?"

To be honest, dating again scares the heck out of me. The thought of having to put yourself out there constantly again? Urgghh... *shrugs*
Not only that, you then have to learn all over again things like, how to read the signs, how to know if he's into you, and afterwards, deal with the disappointments of the other person not wanting the same thing as you.

Why do we get into relationships? To find love? To have companionship? To cure the loneliness you feel? Or just simply to get laid regularly?

When you've loved and lost, how do you know if you can ever find "love" again?

With age, comes wisdom?

They say with age, comes wisdom. I use to think it is some kind of bull crap. However, as I grew older, I do realize that, perhaps there is some merits to that saying.

http://pauljenkins.tv/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Got-wisdom1-e1339506838808-585x207.jpg

This random thought came to mind earlier. I always see quotes and what not postings, about surrounding ourselves with positive people only, and people who (key words) genuinely, wants to see us succeed. For the longest time I never could accurately tell which out of all the people in my life were. Recent situations has allow me to make better and clearer judgement, of course its not some HUGE or BIG drama that happened.

Which, brings me to this thought. I was INSANELY negative when I was younger. Emo, goth, destructive, basically negative in general. Things happened back then when there were some who withdrew from my life, I never knew why, in fact, I use to resent them. It took me awhile, (LOL) for me to realize the error of my ways.

So, that was just a little something I thought I'd share. Plus, I can look back at this in the future to keep my foot on the ground.

Since tomorrow is Valentines Day, remember to Love MORE & Fight LESS people. =P

Cheers!

Flappy Bird anyone?

So lately people have been obsessing over this game called, "Flappy Bird".

Whether it is articles of death threats to the creator, Don Nguyen, after he decided to take the game down from the iTunes store and Google Play store OR videos and memes about how people are abnormally angry over a game in which all we do is tap on the screen in order to get pass those green pipes.

Is it just me, or does anyone else NOT get upset and/or enraged when that duck face bird hits the green pipes? I don't know why, but I just find it funny. First time I played it, I literally couldn't stop laughing when the bird hits the barrier. Yes, I did realise that it sounded a bit sadistic.

Seriously though, I don't get why the anger though, after I've got pass the phase of finding it funny (yeap, it still does sound a little bit odd), I was fine with it, no rage no anger (even though I can only reach a high score of 11. HAHA!). Perhaps I have a higher tolerance for it?

So what is YOUR experience playing it and what's your high score? Put it in the comment box if you wanna let me know.

Happy Monday everyone!

Change

Let me just start off by saying, I used to be... Somewhat borderline? Narcissistic. Though I have to admit I'm not supermodel looking in any shape or form. Well, narcissist in a way that I love taking selfies (self shot), loving my life, and more importantly, loving myself.

Then he happened...

You see, I'm someone who doesn't like changes, I don't even like it when things are out of my normal routine, but for some reason...

I let my guard down & I let him take whole of me. I let him come into my life. In a short two and a half months, I allowed him to mess everything up, especially with my head. When he has taken all of me, he abruptly left me. Along with all the negative emotions a person is capable of.

Now, more than a year and a half has passed, after I've met someone who I hope to be 'the one' for me, I have slowly recovered from it. I've learned to smile and laugh again, and I've learned to be happy with another person again.

I have to say though, the guy I'm currently in a relationship with right now, must really loveeeee me to put up with all the truck load of bull I put him through in the past. *chuckles* Of course, those truck loads of bull, you can say are my defensive effort to protect my feelings in case the same thing happens.

Guess you could say that the cliche saying "the one before, broke me" can be applied to my situation. I know what you are thinking reading this. You're probably thinking "What is this maniac babbling about? What's her point?"

Well what I'm trying to say is that, I should learn to be happy with myself again. I thought being with someone new could fill that void. Now... Don't get me wrong. I still very much LOVE my boyfriend. Heck I would do anything for him! Eheh....

But... Maybe, just maybe, we (me & le bf) could avoid certain fights & arguments that may have started on my end (probably due to my insecurities). If only I'd feel more comfortable in my own skin, like I once did. I had wished that my boyfriend could help me with it, but deep down, I know that only I can make that happen. I have to learn how to accept and also learn from the experiences that life throws at me, not break down from it.

And it all starts....
By making a positive change. ♥

L'oreal Renewal Lash Serum Review

* Sponsored Review *

Hey guys!
It's been awhile since I last updated the blog.
Now, I have a reason to!

This is my first time doing a review, so please bear with me k?
So here goes...

I saw this page on Facebook where they are giving out free samples for bloggers to review. That page is non other than "Only Beauty Malaysia". OnlyBeauty is Malaysia's Best Sampling Website that gives beauty product samples for FREE! No payment needed.

So, I submitted my details for L'oreal Renewal Lash Serum sample giveaway.
After a week or so, I got the sample. At first, I thought I was getting a small tiny sample size product. To my surprise, it was a full sized product!

Here's how the product looks like.

For those of you who want to know more on it, here's a brief description about the product.

The L'oreal Renewal Lash Serum is a concentrated serum enriched with Arginine, a major component of Keratin, and Madecassoside, for an intensive boost. It is said that it would make your lashes seem nourished and seem stronger, like re-activated.

How to use?
Just to apply it on clean eyelashes every morning and every night.
1. Apply to the fringe with the tip of the spoon curved brush.
2. Apply to the length with the hallow side to catch all lashes.

The product feels really light on my lashes, its as if I don't have anything applied to them. It also doesn't clump up my lashes as it dries throughout the day and night.
That is the best part, since I am someone who tends to rub my eyes allot if I feel even slightly uncomfortable, but this product doesn't irritate my eyes at all!

Before, my eyelashes were pretty much non existent.
After about 2 weeks of using it, my lashes do appear to be longer and thicker.
Dream come true for a slant eyed Chinese girl like me I tell you. LOL!
So here are the before and after pictures.

*Before*

*After*

*Here's a close up photo on the lashes*

FYI, I didn't know what pictures to take except a before and after picture of myself, perhaps in my next review I will have a better idea of what kinda photos to take when doing reviews.

If you would like to received beauty samples to review just like me, do visit OnlyBeauty's website and Facebook for updates on freebies and product reviews. ;)

Till next time.
Bye! ♥

Why do I blog?

Hmm.... I've always been hiatus from blogging, if you read this post you might understand why. ;)
Why do I start writing a blog?

It's not cos I want to feel famous.
It's not cos I want to brag to the world about things I have or how good I am.
It's cos I have allot of things I wanted to say but I couldnt express myself better verbally compared to writing.

I'm an emotional roller-coaster.
Sometimes its extreme highs, sometimes its extreme lows.
Over the years, so many people have told me to keep my thoughts to myself, to not be so "transparent" (to quote one of em).

What they don't know is, there so much more that I've already filtered out so many things because there's just so much I have on my mind usually.
Its easier when I was a rebellious & angry teenager, cos I couldn't care less about what people tells me.

However, over the years, those words got to me.
Maybe, that's why I don't blog much?
Each time I wanted to write about something, I am haunted by those words.

I don't have fancy events to blog about, I'm not famous nor a sociallite.
I don't have awesome photographs to blog about, I'm not a professional photographer nor do I have a pricey DSLR.
I started a blog, because me & my thoughts are all I've got, and it seems like some people finds it offensive?

When most of time things I write about are things about myself & how I felt.
Part of me regretted joining a so-called "blogging-community" because when I am myself, I am alienated but when I put on a mask, I am accepted.

I lost myself in so many ways, I guess that was just one of it.
Most importantly, I lost my strength. I didn't know how to defend myself from the people who are hurting me.

Thankfully, I reached the end of the tunnel and now I'm in the light.
I am slowly regaining my strength, my confidence and most importantly my voice.

Thanx to a few of my close friends.

Indonesia Trip - Lombok

Throughout my entire Indonesia trip, I spend most of my days in Lombok.
Another island near Bali. Personally I much prefer Lombok.
Not as crowded and packed like Bali. It's much more laid back.
I highly reccommend it to anyone who wanna have a relaxing day on the beach.
It's also colder than Bali as well on certain months.

So yea, we took a domestic flight to Lombok from Bali.
See, even in Indonesia there's shuttle bus to take you to the plane. Unlike LCCT, where we had to walk under the hot sun to Air Asia's plane. >.<

We board this plane known as "Turbo Props" or "Turbine Powered Propeller air planes". Its rather small, could only fit like 50 people at once I think. Boyyyy.... Was it bumpy...!! >.<

Errr... I'm guessing they've had that issue one too many times? Eheh...

Helloooooo Lombok.
Selaparang Airport. =)

The beach where we stayed at have black sands.
According to dad the sands use to be white, maybe close to 10 years back? But now its black.

Saw someone Kite Surfing, which I thought was freaking awesomee....!!!!
I want to try that someday, but not before I learn how to surf the normal way first. Ahakx...!!

Don't mind me, I just couldn't resist. Too bored siting around waiting for dad to finish up his informal work meeting. =P

Ahah...!! Lunch....!!
Sup Buntut.
Also known as Sup Ekor or Ox Tail soup.
Weird how they call it as "Butt Soup" in Indonesia. Literally. Heh heh....

YUMM....!!!

*BURPS*

We actually ate inside someone's home. The lady operate her restaurant business from home. Am I making any sense? Basically she's using her house as a restaurant.
*That's their family dining table by the way*

Most of the local's house looks like this.

Fishing village. ;)

Watching some fishermen's wives preserving those fresh fish before being shipped off to the local market. That bucket of white substance are salt by the way. Mom asked them, wouldn't the fishes be salty then? But they said it wont, so.... I guess they should know better than us urban creatures ehh.

Baahhh.... Behhhh....

Chickiess....!!!

Some pub's version of Bakso. Too bad the famous one is not open, since we went during Ramadhan month. =(

We rented a car and drove around the island following the coast line for a day. =)

Pretty much most of the time spend in Lombok, we're just lazing around the beach. Tanning, making sand castles, swimming, and eating. Ehehe....

We flew to Surabaya airport to catch a flight back to KL. Couldn't be bothered to fly back to Bali for that.

The manager of this restaurant was nice enough to let us loiter there for about a couple hours while waiting to check in and board.

My brother's always hungry.
*JEALOUSSSS*
He eats soooo much but he never gets fat. =(

Some Indonesian Air Asia's flight attendants. =)

HELLO Malaysia....!!

That's pretty much my entire Bali trip. I really wanna go again though.
Maybe next time I could to go this place called Garuda Wishnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Prak in Bali. ^_^

Indonesia Trip - Day 2 Part 2 (Bali)

Alrightsss.... After hiatus from blogging, here's the Bali Day 2, Part 2.
Been busy with classes, assignments and finals. >.<
Can dieeee...!!
So anyways....

After babi guling, we made our way to Tanah Lot.

We were told that the best time to see Tanah Lot was somewhere around sunset. So naturally, Tanah Lot is the last thing on our itinerary.

We entered at the "domestik" entrance, cos dad could speak Indonesian and they assume we are locals. Holla to MUCH cheaper entrance fees...! Tee-hee...!!

Check out this huge ass bat.....!!!! =O
I thought it was fake at first.
Hahahahahaah....!!!
Till I got near it and it moved.
That made me jumped few steps back.
LOLX....!!

So here are some pics taken around Tanah Lot.

Went there during low tide, that way we could walk to the temple that's supposed to look like its on an island on its own during high tide.

Sunset at Tanah Lot's not as errm... awesomely fantastical as most people told me. It's just alright. Sunset at Lombok's muchhhh better to me.

So after a short car ride around town the next day, I headed to the airport to catch a flight to Lombok. An island relatively close to Bali itself.

Lombok's post gonna be next..... =P
